Hi one and all.  I am finally able to find a computer.  We arrived safely in Johannesburg (to be refered to in the future as Joburg) at 8pm friday 4/26/2013.  We had a quick bite to eat, a glass of wine and off to bed.   The 27th included a tour of Nelson Mandellas' Home and Desmond Tutus' as well.  Lunch at a local spot and then to the Apartide Museum.  Gourmet dinner with our tour group of 24 people.  Tomorrow, we will finally see some animals.  Sunday 4/28/13,  with much difficulty, we went from Joburg airport to Zimbabwi to Batswana trecking throught several customs, visa, immigration etc.  We arrived safely.  On our hour long bus ride we already have seen elephants, wart hogs antelope.  The fun begins. As I am sitting here  a rat ran by on the ledge five feet from me.  Malaria is rampant here and there is a mosquite humming in my ear.  Yikes.   More tomorrow.
