Today our travels take us to Capetown South Africa. We visit Stellenbosch. It is a beautiful 1860's town, very European, all white washed and pristine. If I ever come back to this area, I would visit here again. From here we visit the Dieu Donne Vineyards where we have a lunch of Ostrich steak. It tasted just like steak. We then had a tasting of their wines and of course had to buy some. We then returned to our Spier Hotel and toured their winery. My favorite was the Spier Pinotag, a cross between pinot noir and Hermitage? We can buy it in the states. Dinner on our own. We leave in the morning but stay in Capetown so it will just be a bus ride. I hope to visit the grounds in the morning. They have a Protea Garden that I would love to see.
